Dr. Valerian Rodrigues, the visiting Professor from India, delivered a lecture on "Forging Democratic Futures - Ambedkar on Complex Marginalities and Inclusion" at SFU Segal Building Downtown Vancouver on April 15, 2019. Andrew Peter, the President and Vice-Chancellor of Simon Fraser University introduced Valerien Rodrigues to the audience. Large number of community members attended the event.
Simon Fraser University (SFU) and Chetna Association of Canada remembered Baba Saheb Dr. B R Ambedkar on his 128th birth anniversary by garlanding his bust installed in the WAC library of SFU. Dr. Paul Crowe Chair of Humanities department of SFU and Dr. Valerian Rodrigues , visiting professor from India, also paid their respects to Baba Saheb. (April 12, 2019)
